Contour jaws that fit your part exactly
Designed from your STEP file, printed in PAHT-CF or PC, with threaded inserts and inspection report. Typically two to three working days after approval.
New part, new jaws – in days, not weeks
Milled contour jaws need design, machining time and often weeks. Printed, the contour comes straight from the STEP file, the print runs overnight, and worn jaws are reprinted quickly.
- Form fit, not friction – the contour carries the part
- Self-centring – lead-in chamfer, same position every time
- Gentle on surfaces – large contact area, TPU pads on request
- Light – PAHT-CF weighs less than half of aluminium
- Reorderable – drawing and print file stay with the article

Material by temperature at the gripping point
| Material | Use up to approx. | For |
|---|---|---|
| PAHT-CF | 55 °C | Load-bearing jaws, our standard. Stiff, low moisture uptake. |
| PET-CF | 61 °C | Dimensionally stable nests and holders, also in humidity. |
| PC | 85 °C | Heat near tools, warm moulded parts. |
| TPU | – | Gripping pads as a separate part for sensitive surfaces. |
Limits from the manufacturers' data sheets, with a margin to softening.
From real enquiries
What data do you need?
STEP file of the workpiece, gripper type, gripping force, temperature at the gripping point and quantity. A drawing helps but is not required.
Does a printed jaw last as long as a milled one?
That depends on load, temperature and workpiece – we do not quote a number we have not measured. A pair is replaced within days.
What does a pair cost?
For the first pair, mainly the design. A repeat pair costs only printing, inspection and shipping.
Send the workpiece, get the jaws
STEP file and gripper type are enough to start.
