What should your sample prove?
Visual model
For customer meetings, trade fairs or design approval: smooth surfaces, sharp edges. Usually SLA resin, clear on request.
Functional sample
Test snap fits, hinges and load-bearing parts in engineering plastics up to carbon fibre (FDM) or polyamide (SLS).
Fit check
Does the housing fit the board, the bracket the machine? We check the critical dimensions on the first part.

From sample to small series – from the same file
Once the sample is approved, file, material and settings stay with your article. The series starts with a first article and is inspected per lot to DIN ISO 2859-1 – no tooling, no redesign.

Prototypes and samples
How fast can I get a prototype?
The quotation usually comes within two working days. We state the delivery date in the quotation; it depends on size, process and post-processing.
Is a printed sample as strong as the later series part?
Not automatically. FDM parts are weaker across the layers, so we orient the part to the load. SLS parts behave more evenly. If the series will be injection moulded, we tell you what the sample can and cannot prove.
We only have a sample part, no CAD data.
We measure and model simple geometries. Freeform surfaces need a STEP file or a 3D scan.
Can the sample have threads?
Yes. We heat-set brass threaded inserts, M2 to M8.
